Ingrid Lieke Blom

Youth basketball coach and mentor

  • 🇳🇱 Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands
  • Good Shepherd Sports Club
  • Since 1984
  • Dutch
I'm a basketball coach. I never went pro, but I get to see 2,520 kids fall in love with the game. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Ingrid

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Ingrid: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
