Indira K. Swamy
Welding for eight years in Thane
- 🇮🇳 Thane, Maharashtra, India
- St. Joseph's Workshop
- 2016 to 2024
- English, Telugu
I've worked in welding from 2016 to 2024. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 310 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I try to remember everyone's name.
More about Indira
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

What gifts mean to Indira: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
