I taught special education and history at St. Anne's Secondary School, Thane. I never turned anyone away.
Over the years I had 700 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Indira
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
