Indika Janaka Fernando
Farming mentor, Negombo
- 🇱🇰 Negombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Negombo Community Trust
- 2016 to 2025
- English
For nine years I've mentored people in farming and design. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Indika
If I mentored you, I hope you're still pushing yourself.
What gifts mean to Indika: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
