I've been a nurse for 39 years, most of them in orthopedics at Faisalabad General Hospital in Faisalabad. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
