I taught history at Atlas Secondary School in Ekurhuleni from 2006 to 2014. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I learned every name in the first week.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Imran
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
