I spent eleven years as a lecturer in anthropology at Orchid Institute of Technology in Zanzibar City. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Imani
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
