Imani Githinji
Teacher at Beacon Academy, loves geography
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Since 2012
- English
I teach geography at Beacon Academy in Nairobi since 2012. Most days I teach mixed-ability classes, and I never raise my voice.
I've coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Imani
If you were in my mixed-ability classes class, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

What gifts mean to Imani: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

I was in your mixed-ability classes class in 2022. You believed I could do it before I did. Thank you again.

You taught me geography in 2022 at Beacon Academy. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won. Thank you again.

I failed geography twice before you. After you I passed with a B. Thank you. Greetings from Multan.
