Imani Beatrice Nakamya
Self-taught illustration artist
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- Old Meadowbank Gallery
- Since 1986
- English, Swahili
I work mostly in illustration, sometimes digital art. My first show was in 1986 at Old Meadowbank Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Old Meadowbank Gallery, which keeps me honest.
