Imani Awino Odhiambo

Jazz player and teacher in Kasarani

  • 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
  • Good Shepherd Music School
  • 1987 to 2000
  • English
I play jazz and oud. I started in 1987 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness. My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.

More about Imani

I wrote my first song when I was 17. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Imani: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
