Imani Akinyi Lubega

Self-taught ceramics artist

  • 🇹🇿 Arusha, Arusha, Tanzania
  • Old Arusha Art Collective
  • 2003 to 2019
  • English
I work mostly in ceramics, sometimes woodcarving. My first show was in 2003 at Old Arusha Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave. My studio is always a bit of a mess. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
