Iman Mebarek
Embroidery artist in Heliopolis
- 🇪🇬 Heliopolis, Cairo, Egypt
- Little Heliopolis Art Collective
- Since 2004
- English, Arabic
I got into embroidery as a hobby and somewhere along the way it became the thing I do every day.
I also teach a weekly class at Little Heliopolis Art Collective, which keeps me honest.
More about Iman
I've had 7 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Iman: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
