I coached football at Bamboo Boxing Gym from 1995 to 2025. Most of my players were between 10 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I played music while people worked.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Imam
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Imam: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
