I've played oud from 2000 to 2013, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Imam: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
