I taught physical education at Frangipani Public School in Jakarta Selatan from 1978 to 2013. Most days I taught primary school children, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Imam
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
