Imam Bayu Kartika
Master of welding, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇩 Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia
- Old Phoenix Repairs
- 1989 to 2011
- English, Indonesian
My trade is welding. I opened my own shop in 1989 in Surabaya and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Imam
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
