Imam Andi Kurniawan
Master of electrical work, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇩 Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia
- The Surabaya Repairs
- 2004 to 2015
- English, Indonesian
I've worked in electrical work from 2004 to 2015. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 210 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Imam: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
