Ilham Budiman
Master of carpentry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta Barat, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Old Jakarta Barat Workshop
- 2001 to 2013
- English, Indonesian, French
My trade is carpentry. I opened my own shop in 2001 in Jakarta Barat and I'm still there most mornings.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 17 years later for another job.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Ilham
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Ilham: Any gift will help me keep the workshop open for evening lessons.
