Ilham Bagus Hidayat
Master of painting and decorating, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Jakarta Works
- Since 2010
- English, Indonesian
I've worked in painting and decorating since 2010. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 940 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I run most mornings.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ilham
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Ilham: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
