Ikenna Adewale Kalu
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Little Lagos Workshop
- Since 2001
- English, Yoruba, French
I've worked in thatching since 2001. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 1,030 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I watch every football match going.
More about Ikenna
If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
What gifts mean to Ikenna: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
