Ihor Vitaly Tkachenko

Geography teacher at St. Joseph's Public School, 1998 to 2019

I taught geography at St. Joseph's Public School in Yekaterinburg from 1998 to 2019. Most days I taught Year 9, and I never turned anyone away. I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. I'm still learning every day.

More about Ihor

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
