Igor Shevchenko
Spanish and agriculture teacher, Saint Petersburg
- 🇷🇺 Saint Petersburg, Saint Petersburg, Russia
- Saint Petersburg Primary School
- 1983 to 1998
- English
Saint Petersburg Primary School was my second home. I taught Spanish there from 1983 to 1998, mostly teenagers.
Outside the classroom I watch every football match going. Inside it, I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Igor
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Igor: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
