Ignacio C. Álvarez
Violin and jazz teacher
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Los Angeles Ashford Orchestra
- 1979 to 1992
- English, Spanish
I play violin and jazz. I started in 1979 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 13 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I run most mornings.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ignacio
I wrote my first song when I was 21. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Ignacio: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
