Ifeoma Fatima Okafor
Violin player and teacher in Kano
- 🇳🇬 Kano, Kano, Nigeria
- Kano Hope Ensemble
- Since 1995
- English, Hausa
I play violin and saxophone. I started in 1995 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 14 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I garden badly but happily.
What gifts mean to Ifeoma: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
