Idris Sami Zaki
Design mentor, Mansoura
- 🇪🇬 Mansoura, Dakahlia, Egypt
- Highland Learning Hub
- Since 1981
- English, Arabic
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,310 people through Highland Learning Hub.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Idris
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
What gifts mean to Idris: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.

you helped me get my first design job in 1995. I still have your notes!
