Idris Sami Hamdan
Master of masonry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇸🇦 Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia
- Old Highland Shop
- Since 1993
- English, Arabic
I've worked in masonry since 1993. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 990 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Idris: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
