21 years teaching English literature in Cairo
- 🇪🇬 Cairo, Cairo, Egypt
- Sunrise Public School
- 1982 to 1997
- English, Arabic
For 15 years I was the English literature teacher at Sunrise Public School. I taught first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 800 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Thank you for stopping by.

What gifts mean to Idris: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
