Idris Mahmoud Sabbagh
Physics and agriculture teacher, Heliopolis
- 🇪🇬 Heliopolis, Cairo, Egypt
- Since 1989
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a clerk, and 37 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Idris: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me physics in 2014 at Meadowbank High School. I still remember that terrible school play.
