I'm a ceramics artist based in Cairo. I've been making things since 1993 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
I also teach a weekly class at Valley View Pottery, which keeps me honest.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Idris
I've had 14 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Idris: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
