Idowu Ifeoma Ajayi

Illustration artist in Epe

  • 🇳🇬 Epe, Lagos, Nigeria
  • The Epe Studio
  • 1989 to 2022
  • English
I work mostly in illustration, sometimes printmaking. My first show was in 1989 at The Epe Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. Most of my work is inspired by my grandmother's kitchen. I run most mornings.

More about Idowu

I've had 14 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Idowu: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
