Idowu Favour Bello
Geography teacher at Lagos Middle School, Since 1994
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Lagos Middle School
- Since 1994
- English, Yoruba
I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and 32 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,730 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Idowu
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Idowu: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me geography in 2015 at Lagos Middle School. I still remember the surprise birthday cake.
