I teach music at Lagos Primary School in Lagos since 2011. Most days I teach mixed-ability classes, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 510 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Idowu
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Idowu: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
