I teach art at Kano Girls' School in Kano since 1997. Most days I teach Year 10, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 520 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Idowu
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Idowu: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
