Weaving for 25 years in Abuja

I've worked in weaving from 1999 to 2024. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 1,280 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Idowu: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
