Ida Heike Schmid
Volunteer mentor with Kassel Association
- 🇩🇪 Kassel, Hesse, Germany
- Kassel Association
- 2010 to 2021
- English, German
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 570 people through Kassel Association.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
More about Ida
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Ida: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
