Ibrahim Abubakar Raji
Oud player and teacher in Lagos
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Lagos Ensemble
- Since 1986
- English
I've played oud since 1986, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 16 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I watch every football match going.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Ibrahim: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.
