Ian Wade
Master of upholstery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Albany, New York, United States
- The Albany Trades Guild
- Since 2005
- English
I've worked in upholstery since 2005. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 630 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.

What gifts mean to Ian: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
