Thatching for 24 years in Wollongong

I've worked in thatching since 2002. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 980 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 11 years later for another job.
More about Ian
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Ian: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
