For 25 years I've run the hockey program at St. Petersburg Youth Club in St. Petersburg. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Ian: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
