Hyun-woo Do-yoon Ko
Youth boxing coach and mentor
- 🇰🇷 Seongnam, Gyeonggi, South Korea
- Since 1982
- Korean, English
I've coached boxing at Seongnam Swimming Club since 1982. Most of my players were between 8 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I sing in a choir.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Hyun-woo
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Hyun-woo: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
