For 37 years I was the special education teacher at Gwangju Girls' School. I taught Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I never once raised my voice.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
