I coached chess at Heritage Boxing Gym from 2017 to 2025. Most of my players were between 11 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Hye-won
If you played for me, you probably remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
What gifts mean to Hye-won: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
