I taught design and technology and home economics at Crescent High School, Los Angeles. My door was open at lunch.
I ran the drama society after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I run most mornings.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Hussein
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
