Humaira Rubina Mirza
Embroidery and calligraphy artist
- 🇵🇰 Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan
- The Lahore Print Workshop
- Since 1988
- English, Punjabi
I work mostly in embroidery, sometimes calligraphy. My first show was in 1988 at The Lahore Print Workshop, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at The Lahore Print Workshop, which keeps me honest.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Humaira
I've had 6 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Humaira: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
