I've coached athletics at Our Lady of Peace Sports Club since 1983. Most of my players were between 9 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Hui
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Hui: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
