Hui Rui Du
Art teacher at Highland Public School, 2000 to 2009
- 🇦🇺 Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
- Highland Public School
- 2000 to 2009
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and nine years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Hui
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

You taught me art in 2001 at Highland Public School. I still remember the snow day nobody expected. Thank you again.
