I teach environmental science and mathematics at St. Joseph's Primary School, Bogotá. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk. I've coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

More about Hugo

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
