I coached football at Maple Ridge Boxing Gym from 1988 to 2019. Most of my players were between 12 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm always reading two books at once.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Hugo: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
