I taught art at Hillcrest Primary School in Iztapalapa from 1989 to 2020. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
More about Hugo
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
