I've spent eight years as a lecturer in mathematics at Heritage State University in Los Angeles. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I watch every football match going.
What gifts mean to Hudson: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
